Terms of service
The rules for using dabadata during the beta. Last updated 17 October 2026.
1. A beta service
dabadata ("we", "us") is a hosted realtime app database at dabadata.com, with sites served at dabadata.site and on customers' own domains. It is in beta: features change, limits change, and there is no uptime or support commitment (no SLA). Do not rely on it for anything where an outage or data loss would cause you serious harm, and keep your own copy of data you cannot lose (the console and the API export your rows).
2. Your account
You need a console account to create workspaces and projects. Keep your password, secret keys and tokens safe; anything done with them counts as done by you. You must be at least 16 years old and give a real email address. One person may hold one account; teams share a workspace through invitations.
3. Your data
The tables, rows, files and sites you put into dabadata are yours. You give us only the rights we need to run the service for you: to store, process, back up, transmit and display them as your projects' rules and settings say. We do not sell your data or your users' data, and we do not use it to train AI models.
If your app stores personal data about your own users, you are the controller of that data and we process it on your behalf. You are responsible for having a legal basis to collect it and for answering your users' requests.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use dabadata to:
- break the law, or store or serve content that infringes others' rights;
- host phishing, malware, spam, or pages that pretend to be someone else;
- attack, probe or overload dabadata or anyone else, or get around plan limits or other customers' isolation;
- store payment card numbers, health records or other special categories of data that need certified hosting.
We may suspend a project, a site or an account that breaks these rules, usually after telling you, and immediately when it harms others.
5. Plans and payment
Plans and their limits are on the pricing page. During the beta some plans are enabled on request. When paid plans open, prices, billing periods and refunds will be shown before you pay; we will give at least 30 days' notice before a price change applies to you.
6. Ending
You can delete projects, workspaces and your account at any time from the console. We may end the beta or the service with at least 30 days' notice by email, so you can export your data. After a project is deleted its data is removed from the live database, and from backups as they expire (see the privacy policy).
7. No warranty, limited liability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (during a free beta, that is nothing).
8. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for material changes, email account owners before they apply. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
9. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions: use the contact page.
